Samuel Barlow Coal Company Limited pair in a lock at Braunston
Description
Black and white photograph showing the pair side by side in the 2nd lock at Braunston, they are both loaded with coal. Sonia Smith [later Rolt] can be seen on the side of the canal by an open lock gate, one of the boats is going through the gate with the other stationary behind a closed one. There is a bridge in the distance.
