Black and white photograph of Mr C Burdett [Mrs Baumbers's father] standing next to the toll office in Hawkesbury by the Oxford Canal. The canal is visible on both sides of the toll house and behind Mr Burdett there is a corner where boat people would leave their horses whilst working the lock.
