Fellows, Morton & Clayton Limited narrowboat 'Buckingham' on the Grand Junction Canal

Description

Black and white photograph taken by T W Millner showing a close up of the cabin and stern of the boat, the cabin is painted with "Fellows, Morton & Clayton Ltd", "1596", "No 12, 16707" and "Registered at Uxbridge No 211" written on it. "Buckingham" is written on the side of the boat. A steam powered motoboat can be seen behing the butty. There are 2 boatmen stood by the entrance to the cabin, they are both wearing tradtional dress for Fellows, Morton & Clayton crew. Annotated on the reverse "Harry Beresford standing in Buckingham (not holding the tiller) and his mate. Phoenix & Buckingham probably in Long Buckby Lock No 9 in 1910."
