"The Canal at Rudheath"
Description
Black and white photograph showing the horse boat 'Gertrude' being towed by a horse on the Trent and Mersey Canal at Rudheath. Taken from above the canal looking towards the back end of the boat which is travelling away from the camera, the horse is visible on the towpath in the distance. There is a road to the right of the canal and buildings in the distance. At the bottom of the photograph is written " Copyright WCH 4", "The Canal at Rudheath" and "Lilywhite Ltd Brighouse".
