Description
Black and white photograph showing the Anderton Company horse boat 'Marjery' on the Trent and Mersey Canal near Chute Bridge in Barnton. Taken from the side of the canal looking towards the back end of the boat, the horse is visible further along the towpath attahced to the boat by a rope. At the bottom of the photograph is written, "The Canal Nr. Chute Bridge, Barnton" and "Lilywhite Ltd Triangle, Halifax".
