"On the Canal, Kidsgrove"
Description
Black and white photograph showing the North Staffordshire Railway maintenance boat "Lawton" on the Trent and Mersey Canal at Kidsgrove. Taken showing the back end of the boat where the name is written, it has a hand-crane mounted on it [which would be used for such things as dredging work]. In the distance there is a person and a horse visible on the towpath and bridge number 131 and a railway bridge can be seen. At the bottom of the photograph is written "H.176: On the Canal, Kidsgrove".
