Wartime women trainees on the narrowboat 'Dipper'
Description
Black and white photograph showing 2 women trainees, Audrey Harper and Evelyn Hunt, on the Grand Union Canal Carrying Company narrowboat 'Dipper'. Audrey is stood on top of the cabin of 'Dipper' (where "G. U. C. C. " and "268" are visible on the side) holding a long shaft and the other trainee is stood by the cabin with only her head and arms visible.
