Description
Box of 38 coloured slides showing photographs taken whilst cruising on the 'Lilian Maud' on the Grand Union Canal. Many of the photographs show scenery taken from the boat and of people and boats on the waterways. There are also several photographs of the Inland Waterways Association Rally. Contains several photographs with working narrowboats on them. Boat shown include narrowboats 'Fossa Kilby', 'Sunbeam' and 'Manto'; 'Jojoanda & Co' narrowboat, 'The Duchess'; 'D&J Blagrove' ex GUCCC narrowboat 'Stirling' and a 'Wickson' owned boat ex Oldbury no 19. There are 2 photographs of unidentified narrowboats.
