With parochial rate assessments for 1843, details of locks, programme for annual survey of canal, cost of new works and number of boats using canal in 1842. Double page for each mile of canal: right-hand page shows features such as bridges, culverts, landing places, coloured blue for original line of canal and red for new line, completed 1834; left-hand page gives observations. Original signed by Frederick Wood. Photocopy, with compliments slip of British Waterways Board Birmingham Area Engineer. Stamped "B.W.B. Nov 1979 Received".
