Description

Lists work done for the Birmingham Canal Navigations Company including writing letters, attending meetings and attending PC Martin and courts in relation to obstruction of the canal by Joseph King junior and at Walsall by Smith and Sween, Wood and Wood, Samuel Harris, Wilcox and Hall and Floyd and Coggins, theft of coal by Rowe and by Hicken and others at West Bromwich, Hock and Parker throwing sand into the canal, an assault on an engine driver Baldwin and his son by Wells and Major Flavell and an assault at Hempole Lane by Enoch and George Wood. Part of HR Dunkley collection.
