Lists work done for the Birmingham Canal Navigations Company including writing letters, attending meetings and attending PC Martin and courts in relation to theft of coal by Jackson and others at Walsall, Rushforth and others at Rushall, Fleming at Rushall and James Hood; trespass at Winson Green and assault by David Knowles; damage to fence at Hamstead, damage to fence by Robert Scott; netting of canal by Naylor; wastage of water by Hood at Perry Barr, Copson & Merchant and Weston; obstruction of canal at Oldbury; fouling of canal by Venn & Foster and Lewis a defaulting toll keeper.
