Ship lock plan note on reverse "Coffer Dam (Ship Lock) Old Sharpness" and "Ship Lock Old". Dam put in 1890. Entrance gate sheet dated 1878, endorsed "Entrance Gates [O]ld D[ock] Sharpness 1849/77" and "Old Entrance". Bridge drawing endorsed "Drawing Bridge Rack Segme[missing]".
