Description

Full colour slides or transparencies depicting various canals, showboats and structures, specifically bridges, aqueducts, tunnels and locks. The collection dates from between 1963 and 1996, but the bulk of the collection is dated from 1966. The locations shown include Sapperton, Brimscombe, Honey Street, Devizes, Dundas, Bath, Stoke Breurne, Tipton, Dudley Port, Netherton, Birmingham Canal Navigations, Weaver Navigations, Smethwick, Oldbury, Northwich, Tardebigge, the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, and the Llangollen Canal.
