Boating families: birth, marriage and death certificate

Records of civil registration and extracts from parish registers used in the compilation of the 'Boatfamilies' website (see www.boatfamilies.website). As of 31st March 2017 there were three trees, Canal1 with more than 33,000 individuals, Canal3 and Canal5. Canal2 and Canal4 were started as separate trees but were then absorbed into Canal1 when connections were made. The records are filed in chronological order, whether birth, marriage, death or other and those belonging to Canal3, Canal5 or Canal6 are marked with coloured stickers. JPEG images of 1,728 of the records are on the accompanying external storage device.
