Notebook [possibly compiled by an engineer] containing information on piles and pile driving, rough sketches of various jettys, parliamentary plans, reduction of soundings to 1937 and gauge readings for reduction of soundings. Also "Humber Conservancy, River Humber - Skitter Haven to Barton Haven - surveyed by direction of the Humber Conservancy Board, 10 March to 10 May 1938 - Soundings in Feet". Includes information for Goole, river defence works on the River Humber, meter readings for River Ouse, gauge board, ship lock outer sill at Goole.
