A J Harmsworth's narrowboat 'Basingstoke' at Mapledurwell swing bridge on the Basingstoke Canal
Description
Black and white photograph taken from the side of the canal, shows the bow of the narrowboat where the name is written. There are people by the canal watching the narrowboat and people opening the swing bridge. Mr A J Harmsworth is stood on the bow of the narrowboat. [This trip was the last attempt to keep the Basingstoke Canal open]
