Crane on a boat lifting in a new lock gate at Stoke Bruerne
Description
Black and white photograph taken from beside the canal, shows men on the boat installing the new lock gate and people watching from beside the canal. There is a row of buildings in the background including Ward's shop which has a 'Lyons Tea' sign on the wall, and the mill building and chimney (now site of the National Waterways Museum).
