"Grain Boats Elland 14 on the Calder & Hebble Canal"
Description
Black and white photograph taken from the side of the Aire and Calder Navigation, shows the grain boats (Yorkshire keel barges) at a flour mill in Elland. Taken looking across the canal, shows a train of 14 grain boats loaded with cargo. There are people on the boats and by the canal, the flour mill is in the distance with smoke coming from its chimney. "Grain Boats Elland 14" is written at the bottom right of the photograph.
