Description

Black and white photograph showing a pair of loaded Grand Union Canal Carrying Company Limited narrowboats, a motor called 'Slinfold' and a butty, moored on the Grand Union Canal at Buckby. The bows of the boats are visible on the right of the photograph, with one of the boats having "G.U.C.C. Co Ltd" written on its cover. The lock is visible to the left and "The Spotted Cow" public house can be seen by the side of the canal along with other buildings.
