Charles Nelson steamer 'Jason' on the Grand Junction Canal
Description
Black and white photograph showing the Charles Nelson and Company Limited steamer "Jason" pulling a butty on the Grand Junction Canal [possibly at Linsdale]. John Millard is on the back of "Jason" steering the boat. Taken from a bank near the side of the canal, looking towards the back end of the steamer, only the bow of the butty is visible. There are houses, pylons and the countryside in the background.
