Christening party at Long Buckby on the Grand Junction Canal
Description
Black and white photograph taken by CF Harlow from beside the canal, shows numerous narrowboats on the canal including the horseboats Amaryllis, Amaranth and Elaine with boat people gathered on the Elaine and on the towpath. There is also a horse on the towpath, a lock and numerous buildings are visible in the background. The baby is Edward Roberts and his mother holding him is Sarah Roberts.
