Description
Black and white photograph, the pair shown are the motor 'General' and the butty 'Leicester' ("Registered at Birmingham. No 1057"). Taken from 'Leicester' with the side of the cabin in the foreground, the boat is being towed by 'General' which is visible in the distance. Ike Merchant is on the back of 'General' steering the boat.
