Leominster Canal
BW192/3/1/24/4/4
Ex-GWR steam locomotive 4500 Class 1-6-2T No. 4571 at Steen's Bridge station, nr. Leominster. The photograph was taken on 26 April 1958, when 50 members of the Stephenson Locomotive Society travelled on the last train that would run on the complete track before it was removed.
The Great Western Railway owned the line which ran from Bromuard to Leominster, call at Rowden Mill, Fencote and Steen's Bridge. The line was closed to regular passenger services on 15 September 1952, but remained open from Bromyard to Worcester.
