River Thames Lighter 'Salamander'
Description
Black and white photograph taken by Cyril Arapoff showing the River Thames Lighter "Salamander" docked on the River Thames. Taken from above the boat, there are men stood on and by the side of the boat and planks of wood on the top. There is an unidentified boat behind "Salamander" and another River Thames Lighter 'Shark' can just be seen on the right of the photograph.
August 2017 - it is believed that the photograph was taken from Kew Bridge, looking down on the drawdock.
