Description
Black and white photograph taken by Cyril Arapoff looking upstream on the Manchester Ship Canal from Barton Swing Aqueduct north side approach. Norwegian tanker ‘Fjordaas’ has just departed with tug assistance from Barton Oil Berth seen on the right of picture. In the distance can be seen the bulk cargo berths of Irwell Park Wharf, Eccles.
