Samuel Barlow narrowboats moored at the Hatton lock flight
Description
Black and white photograph taken by Cyril Arapoff showing the Samuel Barlow Coal Company Limited horse-drawn narrowboats 'Dragonfly' and 'Caronia' moored on the Grand Union Canal at the Hatton lock flight. Taken from the side of the canal there are several members of Nellie Freeth's family, who ran the narrowboats, at the side of the canal along with a horse. A bridge is visible in the background.
