Samuel Barlow narrowboat at the Hatton lock flight
Description
Black and white photograph taken by Cyril Arapoff showing a Samuel Barlow Coal Company Limited horse-drawn narrowboat passing through a lock gate at the Hatton lock flight on the Grand Union Canal. The narrowboat is either 'Dragonfly' or 'Caronia' which were run by Nellie Freeth and Family. Taken from the side of the canal looking up at the gates, there is a person stood by one of the gates.
