Description
Black and white photograph taken by Cyril Arapoff showing several wide boats approaching Barton Swing Aqueduct from the north side on the Bridgewater Canal which traverses the Manchester Ship Canal at this point. A horse is approaching the elevated towpath towing a wide boat and Barton Power Station can be seen in the background.(The image requires reversing)
