Black and white photograph taken by Cyril Arapoff showing a loaded wide boat passing down the 'new line' of locks from Runcorn top basin on the Bridgewater Canal dropping down into Runcorn Docks. In the background a goods train passes over the canal on the London North Western Railway main line between Liverpool and Crewe.
