Construction of the new boiler house at John Dickinson & Company Limited's Apsley Mills
Black and white photograph taken from high up inside the structure of the new boiler house looking out across the Grand Union Canal. There are 2 narrowboats in the British Waterways livery in front of the mill, these are the butty 'Taunton' and a motor [possibly 'Tarporley']. Shows building work taking places on both sides of the canal, with cranes and people visible. .
