Black and white photograph showing 2 John Dickinson & Company Limited narrowboats in a lock on the Grand Union Canal at Aspley. The narrowboats are the motor "Jackal" (with "Registered at Uxbridge. No. 557." "12327", "No 91" visible on the cabin) and a butty. Photograph taken from above to one side of the lock, there is a man stood on the back of "Jackal" and a woman working the lock gate.
