Black and white photograph showing 2 Grand Union Canal Carrying Company Limited narrowboats on the Grand Union Canal by John Dickinson & Company Limited Power Department. The narrowboats are the butty 'Taurus' [built 1936] and possibly the motor 'Tucana'. The boats are loaded and there are piles of material behind them. There is also a steam crane unloading behind the boats.
