British Waterways narrowboats by John Dickinson's Power Department

Description

Black and white photograph showing 2 British Waterways [ex Fellows, Morton & Clayton Limited] narrowboats on the Grand Union Canal alongside a John Dickinson & Company Limited Power Department wharf. The narrowboats are the motor "Python", ( with "F249", "Reg at Uxbridge. No.572" visible on the side of the cabin) and "Fazeley" and are side by side on the canal. Material [possibly coal] has been loaded into the hold of "Python" and there are piles of similar material on the wharf alongside. There is also a crane on the wharf.
