Barge 'Ionia' loaded with wood under a bridge at Thames Lock
Description
Black and white photograph taken by H C Davies [Clerk of Works, British Waterways Thames Lock; 33 St. Johns Road, Welling, Kent] showing a barge called "Ionia", number "1627", loaded with wood under a bridge at Thames Lock in Brentford on the Grand Union Canal. The area appears to have flooded as there is debris floating on the canal. A man can be sen on the bridge looking over the side at the canal.
