Shows land between Nelson Street continuation and Icknield Port Bridge and proposed line of canal between Balsall Temple and Fletchamstead and between Brinklow and Newbold-On-Avon on the Oxford Canal. Endorsed "Plan of the Intended London and Birmingham Junction Canal with Collateral Branch, surveyed under the direction of Thomas Telford Civil Engineer F.R.S. L & E 1827. Copy signed by Thomas Telford F.R.S. L & E. Dugdale Houghton Land Surveyor" [is not a Telford signature, has been written by Houghton].
