Image of Nicholas family at Lower Mersey Street, Ellesmere Port with 'foster' family (children) and copy of postcard image of ship lock at Ellesmere Port with barge emerging, lower Pump House on left and warehouse on right with William Nicholas on extreme left hand side (Pier Master at Ellesmere Port for Shropshire Union Canal Company approx 1910) and another uniformed officer to the opposite bank.
