Intended improvements to the river are marked on the plan which shows Thorn's Cut and Thorns Lock, also Fall Ing Cut with two new locks and two new flood gates. Endorsed with "Sir Thomas Pilkington B v Calder and Hebble Navigation. Plan of locus in quo to accompany Brief. Mr Richards". Name of W E Meilyson crossed out and Exlez S and Dawson written in. Stamped "Calder and Hebble Navigation."
