Views showing the Thomas Clayton Limited tar carrying motorboat 'Tweed' and butty 'Rea' passing through lift bridge no 164, the tow line has been dropped and the the butty is turning into a small bay near wharves with piles of coal and a crane below the bridge, two women can be seen on the boat while a boatman operates the bridge, the boat is loaded.
