Stoke Hammond Locks on the Grand Union Canal

Description

Views of the lock showing the empty Samuel Barlow Coal Co motorboat 'Hawke' and its butty dexscending the locks while the loaded british Waterways motorboat 'Alcor' and its butty 'Byfield' ascend the bottom lock via double bridge no 104. A converted narrowboat 'Ark Royal' can be seen moored above the bottom lock. In one image a boy can be seen pushing the bows of a Barlow boat with the pumping station in the background. The boy is possibly Mike Humphris.
