The Grand Union Canal at Slapton Lock

Description

Views of the loaded British Waterways motoboat 'Bexhill' and its butty 'Stoulton' approaching Slapton Lock no30 and ascending the lock. Also views of the loades SE Barlow motorboat 'Hood' and the Samuel Barlow Coal Co butty 'Mosquito' ascending Slapton Lock, four children and a dog can be seen on the butty with the boatwoman, a lock cottage can be seen alongside the top of the lock. Also a close up view of the buttys towing mast and ropework
