Views of lock 2 with it lock cottage seen form the beneath the bridge below, of the dry dock alongside lock 1 seen from the towpath opposite and the bottom gates and steps of lock 1 and of a loaded narrowboat pair [Bison and Neston] in lock 5 about to ascend, a boatwoman can be seen closing a bottom gate.
