Black and white photograph showing Mr and Mrs Gladys Horne (Jack Skinner's foster parents), on an empty narrowboat with washing hung out, before they were married.There are many narrowboats on the canal, possibly at a stoppage. Next to Mr and Mrs Horne there is an empty Samuel Barlow Coal Company Limited narrowboat with washing hanging along it.
