Unloading coal at Manchester Corporation Power Station in Barton on the Bridgewater Canal
Description
Black and white photograph taken from above the canal, shows several barges loaded with coal inside the power station. There is a person on one of the barges and someone beside the canal, there is industrial equipment around the site. [Trade ceased in 1964 and the power station was subsequently demolished]
