Brindley's Barton Aqueduct on the Bridgewater Canal before its demolition
Description
Black and white photograph taken from beside the River Irwell, shows one side of the aqueduct which crosses the river. There are several people stood on top of the aqueduct. [The aqueduct was demolished due to the construction of the Manchester Ship Canal]
