Tug and keel barge moored at Newark on the River Trent

Description

Black and white photograph showing the tug 'Robin' in the foreground and the keel barge "Yare" further along the river, "Yare" has navigation lights on the mast. There are industrial buildings beside the river and part of Newark Castle is visible. November 2018 - information received suggests that the photograph was taken c1954 and that the barge is not a keel. The tug is said to be "Robin Hood", bought second-hand from the Nene, and formerly named "Miss Peterboroough". The mast lights denote a boat towing.
