Pair of narrowboats with Percy Hambridge and Dorne Hogg at a lock on the River Nene
Description
Black and white photograph showing the pair, 'Yeoford' and 'Ash' breasted up on the canal about to enter a lock, they are loaded with wheat and heading towards Wellingborough. Photograph taken from behind the cabin of one of the boats where there is an electric horn visible, Dorne Hogg can be seen working one of the lock gates. There is a guillotine lock gate further along the canal and a swing bridge beyond it.
