Scene at Stretton Stop on the Oxford Canal
Description
Black and white photograph taken from a bridge above the canal, shows the British Waterways narrowboats 'Lyra' (butty) and 'Hadley' (motor). The boats are being tied up for the night by the towpath, there are people beside the canal and a plank leading from the hold of the butty to the towpath. There are also buildings beside the canal.
