Wide boat 'Progress' on the Grand Union Canal
Description
Black and white photograph showing the "Grand Union Canal Company" (written on the cabin) boat. Taken from beside the canal looking towards the stern, there is a steering wheel attached to the cabin (instead of a tiller). ['Progress' had a 12' 6" beam with a Junkers opposed piston diesel 30 h.p.]
