Pair of British Waterways Board narrowboats in a lock on the Grand Union Canal
Description
Black and white photograph showing the motor 'Nautilus' ("Regd at Birmingham No 1511") and the butty 'Slinfold' ("Reg at Rickmansworth No 112", 12697) descending in the lock. Shows the cabins and sterns of the boats with the Bellingham family onboard, there is a boatwoman at the tiller of 'Nautilus' and a girl by the entrance to the cabin of 'Slinfold'.
