Top lock on the Northampton Arm of the Grand Union Canal
Description
Black and white photograph looking along the lock flight, a lock gate paddle is in the foreground with the lock-keepers cottage beside the canal. There is a woman stood in the doorway of the cottage and there is a sign which reads "Northampton Top Lock" above the door. The lock flight can be seen into the distance where there is also a bridge.
